At American Standard International School we celebrate the Bengali New Year called Pohela Boishak in Bengali with a festival where the students perform songs, poems, fashion shows, and dances that symbolize the hope the new year brings.
Local field trips and class activities are scheduled by homeroom and subject teachers that align with subjects being taught during the academic year.
Parents are sent information and must sign permission slips for their child to attend if these are off-campus activities.
